Despite its very “earthy” flavour, I find this a perfect tea for night time. I’ll occasionally add some Maar tea to it as well for a flavour boost.

Prompt delivery and well presented. Wonderful taste, will use the powder in recipes in future as the gin tastes great and doesn’t need the extra flavour.

It will not knock you out. It will gently calm your nervous system and build up over time for better sleep. I felt the best effects starting on the second or maybe third day.

Sometimes, if I’m feeing like I really want to sleep, I chew on the leafs. Oh yeah, haha, that one works.

I’ve also added it to some of my soups (just the leaf as the stems are not nice to chew), I think some of the sleepy compounds may be fat soluble because the sleepiness is more intense when I do this, though it might just be the cooking process.

Lovely experience so far, and I think it genuinely fixed my sleep because I used to have liver problems that would wake me up at 3am almost every day.

I now feel better -partly thanks to lifestyle changes, but also- thanks to this wonderful herb.
